In our first ever edition of the Sqweekly we went all-out on the COVID news. The newly established "JMOWS" (Junior Medical Officer Wellbeing Society), made up of only two very keen and very overly-enthusiastic Interns from Network 6 (Charlotte Cachia and Amna Saadi), had been created after Charlotte and Amna attended one of the monthly JMO Wellbeing Committee meetings. COVID had just begun to rear it's ugly head in Sydney and JMOs were beginning to feel the pressure. In this meeting, Charlotte and Amna came up with the idea of a society run by JMOs focusing on JMO Wellbeing. They felt a great part of this society would be a regular Newsletter, and so, the Sqweekly was created.

In the first volume of the Sqweekly (called the Squeakly at this time), JMOWS debuted their mascot, Jay the Mouse. They also introduced the society and invited the Network 6 JMOs to come along to their first ever event, a Trivia night!
