About the HBRMOA

The Hornsby Beaches Resident Medical Officer Association (HBRMOA) is a not for profit organisation run by the Junior Medical Officers of Network 6 Hornsby Ku-ring-gai.

After it's inception in 2019, the HBRMOA has been growing into an established part of the lives of Network 6 JMOs. The HBRMOA aims to foster a culture of wellbeing, social events and education in our hospitals. Through various social, educational and wellbeing events, the HBRMOA has helped JMOs to learn from eachother, improve their worklife and enjoy themselves whilst making connections.

The HBRMOA elects a new Executive annually in June-July which is made up of the following roles:

• President

• Secretary

• Treasurer

• Socials Director(s)

• Education Director(s)

• Wellbeing Director(s)

A hospital representative role is also assigned for both Hornsby Hospital and Northern Beaches. This is shared amongst the executive throughout the year as the members complete rotations at the two hospitals.​
